Scionpro On The Go! Cabo San Lucas Hola!
Cakes and Scion Steve ( that’s me) have returned to Cabo San lucas to take a much needed rest and visit some friends and familiar places from last year. Our flight from Orlando went smoothly and the Westin Regina Del Cabo is a fantastic place to stay. Our first day we just stayed around the Hotel pool and rested. Our first visitor of the day was a stunning humming bird feeding from a plant in the desert garden outside our window! What a sight….simple pleasures feed the sole. The ocean was pounding the rocks below with a soothing sound and the air was crisp and dry. A refreshing change from the humidity of Florida. Sunday we took the day at leisure then hit the highway to watch the Superbowl at Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo! The place was packed and the competitive air was charged with rooters for both teams! The bar staff kept me soaked in Waboritas made with Sammy’s best Tequilla! Later we walked around the Marina Del Cabo in search of the Nowherebar…a quaint internet cafe’ to log on to the site check some e-mails and keep in touch …wit yous guys and gals out dare! lol Hey its Brooklynese Forgetabodit!!!! Today we hit the road to Todos Santos home of the famed Hotel California to visit a friend of ours Mr. Margarita! the master of the original recipe margarita and the best shrimp chile relenos you have ever seen or tasted anywhere in the world. We received a warm welcome and his staff was fantastic. It felt like going home to an old neighborhood restaurant where everyone knows your name. We had a blast and helped to sell a bunch of relenos and margaritas to fellow patrons!!!! They were buzzing in no time ARRIBBA!!! Manuel Valdez Vazquez is Mr Margarita the five time world champ margarita maker and his restaurant the Tequila’s Sunrise bar and grill I dare say is the best the Baja has to offer.Who knows what the next few days will bring but be sure we will keep you posted! Enjoy the photos.
