Scion announces pricing and equipment for the FINAL RS 4.0 xB
On October 13, 2006, Scion announced the pricing and equipment for the Final release series xB, the 4.0. This box is going to come with a wild paint on it the was used on a special edition in Japan on the Toyota bB. This color know as Maziora Torched Penny. This color is what they call a polarized or color changing color depending on the viewing angle and light reflection.
The new RS 4.0 xB the will hit dealerships next month just in time for the holiday season. The RS 4.0 will feature on the exterior color-keyed taillights, rear spoiler and Modellista speed grille; rear bumper protector; and Release Series wheel covers. The interior was enhanced with Release Series badged floor mats and multi-color under-dash light and cup holder kit. The manual transmission RS 4.0 will also have a color-keyed RAZO shift knob. And to round out the list of the features for the RS 4.0 xB each xb will have an individually numbered brushed stainless steel badge.
There will only be 2,500 units of the xB Release Series 4.0 and the xB Release Series 4.0 model will carry a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $1,980 over the base price of the xB for models with manual transmission and $1,930 for models with an automatic transmission.
I am picturing this lowered maybe with some 18″ chrome wheels with a lip on it or a with a bronze set of wheels with a polished lip. This will be a kool vehicle, so start planning the wheels and upgrades now. See it all next month.
